Meet Our Team

General Manager

Tyler

Tyler is the General Manager of Sell My Junk Car since October 2023. He has been towing vehicles for many years now – recovering junk vehicles is what we do! Tyler has personally worked in the auto recycling industry for over 10 years and was an automotive technician previously – cars are what he knows! He is also a Certified NYS Vehicle Inspectors and has a towing endorsement on his clean driver’s license.

Safety is #1. Our safety practices include thorough vehicle inspections, secure hook-ups, and driving with caution. We use proper safety gear and equipment, follow legal regulations, and continually train. Also, ensure clear communication with the customers and prioritize their safety during vehicle pick-up and towing operations. “

Vehicle Buyers + Graphic Designer

Cassie

Cassie is the Vehicle Buying Manager of Sell My Junk Car and has been with the company for a year now. She was promoted a few months ago from the Car Buying Agent to Vehicle Buying Manager. She has been working on cars with her dad since she was a kid. Cassie is bi-lingual and is constantly using her Spanish to work with Spanish speaking customers. Her most memorable moment working for the SMJC was purchasing a vehicle from a demolition derby.

Hang on to all the happy memories from your car. Not the negatives. Customers always dwell on the bad things that happen. For example: “I got into an accident”. I always try to remind or bring up a positive experience they had.

Mary

Mary is a Vehicle Buyer at Sell My Junk Car and has been in the industry for 4 years and became a part of the team in October 2023. She has worked for another local auto recycler and has been in customer service her entire career. Her personal favorite car is her Jeep Wrangler and she enjoys how they can be personalized to each person. Mary is bi-lingual with Spanish and English.

Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions big or small. The car-selling process can be stressful and understanding the process makes it much easier.

Dakota

Dakota is the graphic designer at Sell My Junk Car. She has been in the design field since 2020 and has been with the company since October 2023. She has a passion for being creative and has gotten the opportunity to work on cool projects like the SMJC identity and designing the graphics for the wraps on their tow trucks.

You can utilize the blog section of our website to answer all kinds of car-related questions (not just about selling your vehicle or auto recycling). It can be a very helpful resource and is constantly being updated with new content.

Alfonso
